Delhi Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2025

Part 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

Note: Part 1 process is for candidates who have not registered on the SSC website before. If you have already registered on their website, then you can skip this part.

1. Visit the new SSC website (ssc.gov.in) and click on the ‘Login or Register’ button (presented on the top-right corner of the homepage).
2. Then click on the “New User? Register Now” [if you are a new user] and click on continue.
3. Complete steps “Personal Details”, “Password Creation”, “Additional Details”, and “Declaration” [make sure to complete these details very carefully and correctly.
4. Enter your valid mobile number and email ID.
5. For verification, you will be provided an OTP on your mobile number.

• Signature: Upload a scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format with a file size between 10 KB to 20 KB. The image dimension should be approximately 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).

Delhi Police Constable Selection Process 2025

To recruit candidates, SSC follows a selection process that is designed to test a candidate’s abilities and physical fitness.

1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): This is the first stage of the section process. It is an objective-type, multiple-choice paper with 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The rest of the details are provided below.
2. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT): Candidates who qualify for the first stage will be shortlisted for the PE&MT. This test is of a qualifying nature and will be conducted by the Delhi Police in Delhi. It includes a race, long jump, and high jump. Physical measurements for height and chest (for male candidates) will also be taken during this stage.
3. Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates who qualify in the PE&MT and Document Verification will undergo a medical examination.

Stage 1: Delhi Police Constable Exam Pattern 2025 [CBT]

Computer-based exam is the first stage of the exam. Candidates who pass the first stage (CBT) will be eligible to appear in the second stage of the selection process.
