SBI Clerk 2025 Educational Qualifications (31/12/2024)

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2024. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2024.

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2024, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1996 and not later than 01.04.2004 (both days inclusive).

SBI Clerk 2025 Biometric Verification

Bank, at various stages, may capture thumb impressions or IRIS of candidates in digital format for biometric verification of the genuineness of the candidates. The candidate will ensure that the correct thumb impression or IRIS is captured at various stages and any inconsistency will lead to rejection of the candidature. In case any candidate is found to be not genuine, apart from taking legal actions against him/her, his/her candidature will be canceled. As such, they are advised not to apply any external matter like mehendi, ink, chemicals etc. on their hands.

SBI Clerk 2025 Selection Process

The SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025 selection process consists of two phases- the Prelims Exam & Mains Exam for the post of Junior Associate. Every candidate who wants to secure a job in the SBI as a Clerk has to go through both rounds in a process. Candidates who pass the prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the mains exam. There is no interview round in the SBI Clerk 2025 selection process.

The Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

SBI Clerk 2025 Probation Period

Selected candidates will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Service Regulations of the Bank in force at the time of joining. The newly appointed Junior Associates will be on probation for a Minimum period of 6 months. Newly recruited Junior Associates will be required to complete e-lessons as prescribed by the bank during the probation, to get confirmed in the Bank, failing which their probation will be extended till completion of the same.
Further, before the probation period ends, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated, and the probation period of those employees whose performance fails to meet the Bank’s expectations may be extended.

SBI Clerk 2025 Pre-Exam Training

The bank will arrange pre-examination training for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen/Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India. Pre-Examination Training will be conducted online. All eligible Candidates who opt for and wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the online application. Candidates opting for Pre-Examination Training should download their call letter for training from the Bank’s website by entering their registration number and date of birth. No hard copy of the call letter will be sent.

Below we have provided the SBI Clerk 2025 preparation tips:

  • Know the Exam Pattern and Syllabus: You must understand the structure of both the Preliminary and Main examinations. You can plan your study plan accordingly.
  • Create a Study Plan: Organise the time according to the subject strengths and weaknesses and then set some time for that particular subject. Teach it in parts where you give the information, activities, practice, time for revision, and then practice mock tests.
  • Build Strong Fundamentals: On a functional level, candidates should also apply themselves to learning core principles in Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, Mathematical and Arithmetic Reasoning, English, and banking knowledge.
  • Take Mock Tests Regularly: One helpful strategy for preparing for the exam is taking practice tests under time constraints. Review and evaluate results and spend time overcoming areas of deficiency.
  • Focus on Speed and Accuracy: To pass each section, develop time management strategies for completing each section within the given time frame.
  • Revise Regularly: Revision helps ensure that the information is assimilated and retained for a long time, and comes through consistent practice.
  • Stay Consistent and Motivated: Consistency is key. It is also very important to always keep a positive attitude when preparing SBI Clerk 2025 exam.

SBI Clerk 2025 Admit Card

Candidates who will fill out the form and will appear in the exam will be required to download the SBI Clerk 2025 Admit Card before the prelims exam. The SBI Clerk admit card can be downloaded online from its official website only. There will be no service at all to get the hard copy via courier or something else. The SBI Clerk 2025 admit card will be released for both the preliminary and mains exams separately around 7 to 10 days before the exam date.

To download the SBI Clerk 2025 admit card, candidates are required to use their login credentials:

  1. Registration Number/Roll Number
  2. Date of Birth/Password

SBI Clerk 2025 Result

As per the SBI Clerk 2025 notification, the SBI Clerk consists of two stages in the selection process that is Prelims and Mains. The SBI released the SBI Clerk 2025 Result for both prelims and mains separately. The result for prelims will be announced after successfully conducting the prelims exam and the result for mains will be announced after conducting the mains exam. Candidates who will pass the prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the mains exam.
