SSC CGL Tier 1 2026

If you pass Tier 1, you will get the admit card for the Tier 2 exam. This is the main exam of the SSC CGL selection process 2026 because your final job fully depends on the marks you score here. Tier 2 is also conducted online. It has two different papers: Paper I and Paper II.

Candidates who successfully clear the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams are called for Document Verification. Candidates must produce both original and photocopies of essential educational certificates, category/reservation proofs, and a valid photo-bearing ID proof matching the date of birth listed on their admit card.

You must show a valid original ID card. The date of birth on your ID must match exactly with your exam admit card. You can bring any one of these:
- Aadhar Card or E-Aadhar printout

Sometimes, two or more students get the exact same marks in the Tier 2 exam. In such cases, the SSC uses special tie-breaking rules to decide who gets the higher rank. They check these things step-by-step:
- Marks scored in Paper II of the Tier-II Exam (only for JSO posts).

SSC CGL Physical Test 2026
SSC CGL Physical tests are not required for normal desk jobs.
