2-Month (60-Day) SSC CGL Tier 2 Study Plan

This plan divides your preparation into two phases: Phase I (40 Days) for conceptual depth and Phase II (20 Days) for high-volume practice and revision.

Phase I (Day 1 – Day 40): Conceptual Mastery & Advanced Topics

Goal: Complete all advanced topics (Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, and Advanced GK) and build speed in English and Math.

Common Mistakes to Avoid in SSC CGL Tier 2 Preparation

  • Neglecting Reasoning: Although Math and English have higher marks, Reasoning now holds 30 questions (90 marks). The difficulty is higher than Tier 1; focus on advanced non-verbal and critical thinking questions.
  • Skipping GK Analysis: GA (25 Qs / 75 Marks) is a significant score multiplier. Don’t rely solely on Tier 1 knowledge; revise advanced concepts in Polity, Economics, and Science.
