Common Mistakes to Avoid in SSC CGL Tier 2 Preparation
- Ignoring Computer Knowledge: This module is mandatory to qualify. Dedicate time to MS Office and Internet basics to ensure you don’t fail this section.
- Neglecting Reasoning: Although Math and English have higher marks, Reasoning now holds 30 questions (90 marks). The difficulty is higher than Tier 1; focus on advanced non-verbal and critical thinking questions.
- Skipping GK Analysis: GA (25 Qs / 75 Marks) is a significant score multiplier. Don’t rely solely on Tier 1 knowledge; revise advanced concepts in Polity, Economics, and Science.
- Mistaking Mock Analysis for Practice: Simply taking a mock test does not help. You must spend time analyzing the solutions and mistakes to truly learn and improve.
