I started my preparation in year 2020 and my journey was filled with ups and downs. Initally I was able to clear some prelims but was not able to clear mains till 2021.

Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?

I appeared in all banking exams. In 2020 I was able to clear ibps PO and clerk pre and also LIC assistant pre but was not able to clear any of the mains. But In year 2021 I was in final list of SBI PO and also cleared RRB Office Assistant. I missed IBPS PO and Clerk 2021 final list by only 1 mark in both. But no regrets. I am happy that someone more deserving than me got that seat as I would have only chosen SBI PO over any other bank.

English Section Preparation Strategy

My English was good from the beginning. So in this section, I used to go with my instincts and practised it from only mocks and sectional tests.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

Initially , I completed all the chapters basics from free YouTube sources and later practised by myself from different platforms like testbook , smartkeeda and practicemock. And also mocks helped a lot in improving this section.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

Reasoning section was little tricky for me in the beginning but it get smooth later as I kept practising in this. I watched some lectures for basic practise and understanding on YouTube channels and later shifted to practise from mock tests only.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

For General Awareness section I opted for a PDF course and a video course. For PDF course , I subscribed to affairs cloud and for video course I watched videos of Adda and oliveboard. Later, before exam practise mock bazooka capsule also helped a lot for the revision purpose.

Computer Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I prepared for computer section for RRB. and it also helped there a lot. As I scored around 26-28 marks out of 40 in RRB clerk which played a crucial role in my selection. For this , I watched a computer awareness video lecture from YouTube and also solved some PDF objective questions provided by different sources for free.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

Yess I made my daily schedules a night before sleep and try to complete my targets before the end of the day. And also I made a habit of giving mocks on regular basis. As I used to give a mock daily just after waking up till before mains exams. It helped me a lot in my final selection. Yeah there was a time when I felt very low. Many of my friends were getting placed and some also promoted in their respective fields. As I was happy for them and feeling bad for me as it was going to be more than 2 years from my graduation. So once I felt for quitting the preparation but later I decided to give it a last try and later I confirmed my selection.

Just keep doing better. Your competition is with yourself not with anyone else. Just have some extra edge in you over others in prep and have a huge faith in yourself that you will do it. And just give your best. Bcoz if u will not then some other will take it.
