SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Shift 

SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam will start from 12th November 2025. Therefore, all the candidates who are preparing to take the Tier 1 exam can check the shift timings to avoid any last-minute confusion. It is important to keep in mind that the candidates must download their admit cards from the official SSC website well before the exam date. The admit card will have the details like exam venue, shift timings, and roll number. Also, they must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to get checked by the security. Here are the most important Exam Day Guidelines that the candidates need to follow to avoid any last-minute hassles and give a stress-free beginning to their exam experience:

  1. Keep in Mind the Reporting Time: Candidates should reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card or hall ticket.
  2. Documents to Keep: They need to keep the Admit card, photo ID, and two passport-sized photographs along with them. They need to download their admit cards and take a printout. They should not forget that they will not be allowed to sit in the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam without it. The admit card contains all the details about the candidate, like the name, photo, exam centre, and reporting time, and it confirms his/her identity.
  3. Photo Identification Documents: Carry a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.) in original as well as a photocopy. And make sure that the name on the ID matches the name on your admit card. Candidates can carry any of the following documents: Passport, Aadhaar Card/printout of e-Aadhaar, Driving License, ID Card issued by university/college/school, Voter’s ID card, PAN Card, etc. They should also carry passport-size photos, the photos that they uploaded during the application process.
  4. Avoid Prohibited Items: They must avoid taking any of the prohibited items mentioned in the SSC CHSL notification, such as mobile phones, electronic gadgets, calculators, and any study material.

SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Time Tips 

  1. Seating Arrangement: Find out your roll number and immediately sit on your allotted seat. Do not change your seat without the permission of the invigilator.
  2. Question Paper and Answer Sheet: Listen carefully to the instructions of the invigilator regarding filling up the details on the answer sheet. Fill in your roll number and other details correctly.
  3. Read Instructions: Read the instructions given on the question paper carefully before starting the exam. Write your roll number on it and then understand the structure of the paper.
  4. Time Management: Keep track of the time. Allocate time wisely to different sections of the paper and try to solve all the questions without leaving any.
