What Is SSC CHSL Final Result 2026?

The SSC CHSL Final Result 2026 is the result declared after completion of the First Round of Tentative Allocation, Sliding and Identity Verification process.

Earlier, SSC released the First Round of Tentative Allocation on 17 August 2026. Candidates who were provisionally allocated posts were subsequently required to participate in the Sliding/Identity Verification process.

The physical Sliding/Identity Verification process was conducted from 1 September to 3 September 2026. Candidates who failed to attend the required process were treated as absent and were not considered for the final result.

After considering the FIX/FLOAT choices and fresh vacancies created due to candidates’ absence, SSC has now declared the final result.

SSC CHSL Final Allocation 2026

The final allocation has been prepared according to the merit-cum-preference of candidates and the FIX/FLOAT option exercised during the Sliding/Identity Verification process.

The final result contains:

The 328 new allocations were made against vacancies that became available because some candidates did not participate in the Sliding/Identity Verification process.

SSC CHSL Final Result Vacancy and Candidates Recommended

The final result write-up reports 3,522 vacancies against which 3,515 candidates have been provisionally recommended.

Category-Wise Final Allocation

Horizontal Category-Wise Details

The horizontal category candidates are also counted within their respective vertical categories according to the applicable reservation rules.

Why Are 3,515 Candidates Recommended but Only 3,512 in the Candidate List?

Candidates may notice a difference between the total number of candidates recommended in the final result write-up and the number of candidate records available in the final candidate list.

SSC has provisionally recommended 3,515 candidates, while the final candidate list contains 3,512 candidate records.

The reason is that the Commission has withheld the results of 3 candidates.

Therefore:

3,515 provisionally recommended − 3 withheld = 3,512 candidates listed in the final candidate PDF

SSC has separately mentioned the roll numbers of these three candidates in the final result write-up.

SSC CHSL Final Result 2026: Withheld Candidates

The Commission has withheld the results of 3 candidates.

Their roll numbers are mentioned separately in the official final result write-up.

Candidates should therefore use the final candidate list PDF to check their names or roll numbers and refer to the final result write-up for additional clarification regarding withheld results.

SSC CHSL Final Result 2026: Post-Wise and Category-Wise Cut Off

The SSC CHSL Final Result 2026 write-up contains post-wise and category-wise details of the last selected candidate.

Unlike a single common cutoff, the final allocation contains different last selected marks depending on:

• Post
• Department
• Category
• Vacancy position
• Candidate preference
• Merit
• Applicable horizontal reservation

The final result PDF provides the following details for each post code and category:

Candidates looking for the exact cutoff for a particular post and category should download the final result write-up and check the corresponding post code.

SSC CHSL Final Result 2026: Last Selected Candidate Details

The final result write-up provides detailed last-selected-candidate information against the post-wise and category-wise allocation.

The marks provided include:

• Total marks
• Tier-II Section-I marks
• Tier-I marks
• Date of birth of the last selected candidate

For horizontal categories such as ESM, OH, HH, VH and PwD-Other, the last-selected-candidate details are shown under the respective horizontal category.

Candidates should therefore not compare a horizontal-category cutoff directly with the corresponding vertical-category cutoff.

SSC CHSL Final Result 2026: Tie-Breaking Rules

SSC has prescribed a specific order for resolving ties between candidates having equal scores in Tier-II.

The tie is resolved using the following criteria in sequence:

1. Marks scored in Tier-II Section-I
2. Marks scored in Tier-I
3. Date of birth, with the older candidate placed higher

The process is followed one criterion at a time until the tie is resolved.

SSC CHSL Final Result 2026: Fresh Ranks

The Commission has allotted fresh ranks to candidates included in the final result.

These fresh ranks will supersede the ranks allotted in the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA).

The other details mentioned in the earlier FRTA write-up continue to apply to the extent that they are not contradictory to the final result write-up.

Therefore, candidates should rely on the latest final result and the fresh rank allotted in it rather than the rank shown in the earlier FRTA result.
