SBI PO 2024 Education Qualification
To be eligible for the State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) 2024 position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Central Government or hold an equivalent qualification.
- Candidates who are in the final year or semester of their graduation may apply provisionally. However, they must provide proof of having passed the graduation examination if they are called for an interview.
- Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate are eligible, but they must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is as per the notification.
- Chartered Accountant certified candidates are also eligible to apply.

SBI PO 2024 Age Limit
The SBI PO candidate’s age limit must be 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2003 and not earlier than 02.04.1994 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in the Upper age limit shall be as below:

SBI PO 2024 Exam Pattern for Mains
The SBI PO 2024 Mains Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

SBI PO 2024- Important Points
The SBI PO selection process has some important points that the candidates need to remember:
- Biometric Verification: The bank may use digital thumb impressions of the candidates to ensure a secure and error-free selection procedure for SBI PO 2024. This is done to check the authenticity of the candidates. If the biometric verification fails, the candidate will be disqualified and may face legal action. Therefore, candidates should avoid applying any external substance like ink, Mehandi, chemicals etc. on their hands.
- Number of Attempts: The bank has fixed the maximum number of attempts for each category. Candidates who have exhausted all the attempts are not eligible to apply. The Preliminary Exam does not count as an attempt, but the Mains Exam does.

SBI PO 2024 Final Selection
The candidates will have to qualify both in Mains and Interview separately. The marks obtained in the Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added to preparing the final merit list for selection.

SBI PO 2024 Salary
The SBI PO salary basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7- 46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7 63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
