Things You Should Take Care Of During These 15 Days
Most candidates make very silly mistakes, due to which they fail to get the most out of their revision plan. Below, we have mentioned some mistakes that most candidates make. You are strongly advised to read these mistakes and try not to follow them.
- Prioritize General Science: With 25 marks, General Science is a game-changer for Group D. Allocate more time to revising the core concepts (especially up to the 10th standard level) from your standard GK book or NCERTs.
- The 3-P Rule (Practice, Practice, Practice): Every single day must include dedicated time for solving questions. Focus on the Previous Year Question (PYQ) sets for Maths and Reasoning. PYQs are the best predictor of the Group D exam pattern.
- Revision of Topics Again and Again (Spaced Repetition): Notice how the plan asks you to revisit a topic after a few days? If you revise a concept on Day 1, revising it again on Day 6 or Day 10 helps your brain solidify the memory, moving it into long-term retention. Use flashcards for formulas and science facts.
- Maintain Your Error Log: After every mock or practice set, spend an hour meticulously analyzing your mistakes. Note down the topic and the reason for the error (silly mistake, conceptual gap, or speed issue). This log becomes your most valuable study material in the final days.
- Be Human, Not a Robot: Quality over quantity. Aim for 8–10 hours of focused study with a disciplined structure. Take short 10-minute breaks every hour. A well-rested, fresh mind retains formulas better than a burnt-out one.
- Boost Calculation Speed: Practice tables, squares, and cubes daily. This is vital for the 25-mark Maths section, where every second counts.
