OICL Assistant 2025

The OICL Assistant Exam short notification has been released, and the online application has started from 2nd August, and the last date to fill out the online application form is 17th August 2025.

The syllabus of this exam contains topics from common banking subjects like English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Computer.

The OICL Assistant Exam consists of 3 stages of selection, that is,

  • Prelims stage (Tier 1 Exam)
  • Mains stage (Tier 2 Exam) , and a
  • Regional Language Test.

The candidates must qualify in each stage of this exam for the further selection process. Also note that OICL Assistant is a Class 3 level examination, where the difficulty level of questions is expected to be easy to moderate.

OICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2025 Overview

The Prelims exam or the Tier 1 – Preliminary exam contains 100 questions from a total of 3 subjects, which are English Language, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability, and the total duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.

The Mains Exam or the Tier 2 – Mains Exam contains a total of 200 questions of 250 marks from 5 subjects, which are English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer.

The Regional Language Test may require you to prove your efficiency in the regional language of the particular state in which you have applied.

OICL Assistant Tier 1 – Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The first stage of the selection process is the Tier 1 exam, also called the Prelims Exam. This exam is of a total of 100 marks and a total of 100 questions will be asked, which are distributed in 3 sections as provided below.

OICL Assistant Tier 2 – Mains Exam Pattern

OICL Assistant Regional Language Test

Candidates shortlisted in the OICL Assistant Main Examination will be called for the Regional Language Test. This test will be conducted by the officials of Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL).
