RRB Clerk Selection Process 2025

The RRB 2025 selection process has two stages: Prelims and Mains. In prelims, 80 questions of 80 marks are asked under 25 minutes (Reasoning) and 20 minutes (Numerical Ability) sectional timings. RRB Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern

During the RRB Clerk 2025 prelims examination, participants must complete 80 questions within a 45-minute timeframe, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers. Achieving success requires meeting both individual section cutoffs and the overall cutoff.

Note: Prelims is Qualifying, but you need to clear the sectional as well as the overall cut-off to appear for the Mains exam, which will decide your final selection.

RRB Clerk Mains Exam Pattern

During the RRB Clerk mains examination, participants will be tasked with solving 200 questions divided into five sections, with each section containing 40 questions. A total of 2 hours will be allotted for completing these questions. It is important to note that there will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Note: There are sectional cut-offs in RRB Clerk Prelims and Mains along with the overall cut-off. Candidates who clear both cut-offs will be selected for the final merit list.

IBPS RRB Clerk Final Selection

The final selection of RRB Clerk or RRB Office Assistant is totally based on the Mains Exam score. Therefore, candidates need to focus on both the prelims and the mains exam preparation together to qualify for the final merit list.
