IBPS Revised Calendar 2025: What’s New in IBPS 2025 Calendar?

The IBPS calendar covers exams for Public Sector Banks (PSBs), including PO/MT, Specialist Officers (SO), and Customer Service Associates (Clerks). This year, the schedule has undergone a notable change. Traditionally, RRB exams were held earlier, giving candidates a chance to warm up before the tougher IBPS PO papers. But now, PO will take the lead, requiring aspirants to shift their focus sooner.

Here’s the new timeline for PSB exams:

IBPS PO Revised Calendar for (CRP PO/MT-XV)

  • Prelims: 17th, 23rd, 24th August 2025
  • Mains: 12th October 2025

This means you’ll need to begin your PO exam preparation well in advance, preferably from June or July. The time between Prelims and Mains is short, so a strong Prelims performance is essential.

IBPS Specialist Officers (CRP SPL-XV)

  • Prelims: 30th August 2025
  • Mains: 9th November 2025

This is ideal for candidates with professional qualifications. You’ll have two full months between PO Mains and SO Prelims, allowing time to shift gears if you plan to appear for both.

IBPS Customer Service Associates (CRP CSA-XV – Clerical)

  • Prelims: 4th, 5th, 11th October 2025
  • Mains: 29th November 2025

Clerk exams come after PO and SO, giving you a broader window to prepare. If you’re applying for both PO and Clerk roles, this timeline is quite convenient.

IBPS Revised Calendar 2025: RRB (Regional Rural Banks) Exam Dates

In a big shift from previous years, RRB Officer and Assistant exams will now take place after the PSB exams. This delay means you’ll have more time to focus on RRB-specific preparation like Hindi language, rural awareness, and local banking practices.

RRB Officer Scale I

  • Prelims: 22nd & 23rd November 2025
  • Mains: 28th December 2025

You’ll get a full two months after IBPS PO Mains to focus on RRB Officer Scale I. This staggered timeline gives working professionals and students some breathing room between exams.

Officer Scale II & III

  • Single Exam: 28th December 2025

For Scale II and III officers, there is just one single stage—a professional knowledge-heavy paper. Aspirants must begin domain-specific revision early and treat this as a one-shot opportunity.

Office Assistants (Clerk Level)

  • Prelims: 6th, 7th, 13th & 14th December 2025
  • Mains: 1st February 2026

The Office Assistant exam is now the last among all IBPS exams, stretching the cycle into early 2026. Candidates get ample time after the PO and Clerk exams to prepare specifically for this one.

Registration Process & Document Uploads

IBPS has also shared some important details about the application process with the release of the revised calendar. Everything will be conducted online, and candidates only need to register once for both Prelims and Mains (where applicable).

Here’s what you’ll need to upload:

  • Photograph: 20–50 KB
  • Signature: 10–20 KB
  • Thumb Impression: 20–50 KB
  • Handwritten Declaration: 50–100 KB
  • Live Photograph: Capture using a webcam or smartphone

Make sure your files meet the size and format requirements mentioned in the detailed notification (to be released soon). Without proper uploads, your application may be rejected.

Why This Calendar Change Matters

This new calendar has reshaped the timeline for preparation. Now that the PO exams are coming first, aspirants need to start their preparation earlier than usual. Especially if they plan to face multiple exams.

If you’re one of them, here’s what you should consider:

  • Start your PO preparation right now.
  • There are just two months to go before the first Prelims paper.
  • Use the gap between PO and RRB to revise and practice.
  • Plan subject-wise.
  • First, focus on common sections like Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English. Then, you should shift to the topics that are focused on RRB.
