IBPS Clerk 2025 Shift Timing

IBPS conducts exams in multiple shifts to manage the large number of students. It’s important to arrive on time, as mentioned on your admit card. It includes the reporting time, when to write the handwriting sample, and when the exam starts and ends.

General Instructions for IBPS Clerk 2025 Exam

Here are some important rules every candidate must follow on exam day:

  • Carry your admit card, photo ID proof (original + photocopy), and one extra passport-size photo.
  • Your documents will be verified and stamped at the center. These will be returned to you for use during the Mains exam.
  • You must carry the stamped admit card from the Prelims for the Mains exam.
  • No document should be sent to IBPS before or after the exam.
  • Candidates without a photo on the admit card or without an extra photo will not be allowed inside.

Items NOT Allowed Inside the Exam Centre

To avoid any problems, do not carry these items to the exam hall:

  • Books, notes, pens, pencil box, calculator, writing pad, plastic pouch
  • Electronic devices like phones, Bluetooth, earphones, smartwatches, and cameras
  • Bags, belts, caps, hairbands, goggles, metal items, water bottles
  • Ornaments like rings, nose pins, chains, pendants
  • Food items, opened or packed
  • Any item that may help in unfair means

What Happens If You Miss Your Shift?

If you miss your shift, you will not be allowed to appear in any other shift. No changes or rescheduling are allowed. That’s why it is very important to carefully check your admit card for your reporting time and shift details. Plan your travel in advance, keep some extra buffer time, and try to reach the exam centre early. This will help you avoid last-minute stress and ensure that you enter the hall on time without any issues.
