- Check the Tone: Identify if the passage is positive or negative. If the passage talks about “War,” you will likely use negative words like destruction or loss. If it talks about “Success,” you will use positive words like hard work or victory.
- Eliminate Wrong Options: Instead of looking for the right answer, focus on finding the wrong ones. If three options are definitely wrong, the remaining one must be the answer.
- Link the Sentences: Remember, the sentences are connected. The clue for the second blank is often hidden in the previous sentence. Read the sentence before and after the blank carefully.
