The SBI PO Mains syllabus invites an objective test and descriptive test as well. Candidates need to clear the descriptive test as well to qualify for the SBI PO mains exam. Candidates need to score passing marks in the descriptive test and qualify for the SBI PO mains 2023 exam. The candidate must have a graduation degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution. The candidate must be between 21 to 30 years of age as on April 1, 2023. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
The selection process for SBI PO exam consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination: It is an online objective test of 100 marks and one-hour duration. It has three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Main Examination: It is an online objective and descriptive test of 250 marks and three-hour duration. It has four sections: Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. The descriptive test consists of two questions on letter writing and essay writing. Group Exercise and Interview: It is the final stage of the selection process. It carries 50 marks and evaluates the candidates’ personality, communication skills, and suitability for the bank.
It can be, especially for aspirants which have prepared over the course of last 2-3 months for exam like RRB PO, Clerk, IDBI, & SBI Clerk. You will have to follow a dedicated study plan.
The candidates can apply for SBI PO exam online through the official website of SBI (www.sbi.co.in). The application process involves the following steps: Registration: The candidates have to register themselves by providing basic details such as name, email, phone number, etc. Application Form: The candidates have to fill the application form by providing personal, educational, and other details. They also have to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. Application Fee: The candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 750 (for General/EWS/OBC category) and Nil (for SC/ST/PWD category) through online mode using debit card/credit card/internet banking. Confirmation: The candidates have to submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
