IBPS has released the PO exam 2021 notification announcing a total of 4,135 vacancies for POs to be filled in 11 nationalized banks. IBPS PO 2021 Prelims exam will be held on 4th & 12th December (Tentative) & IBPS PO 2021 Mains exam will be conducted in January 2022 (Tentative). The selection process encomposses, 3 stages, namely, Prelims, Mains & an interview (slated to be held on February/March 2022). Total vacancies that were declared in 2018-19 for the position of IBPS PO was 4252, for the year 2019-20, the number of vacancies announced was 4336, and for the year 2020-21, the number of vacancies announced for the position of IBPS PO was 3517 (all new). The vacancies have not been announced yet for the year 2022 & we will update the number of vacancies once the official notification is released.
IBPS PO 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The minimum educational qualification required to be considered eligible for appearing in the IBPS PO 2022 exam is as follows:
1. Age (As on 01.08.2022):
Minimum: 20 years and Maximum: 30 years
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1992 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both dates inclusive)
2. Educational Qualifications (As on 22.08.2022)
The minimum educational qualification required to be considered eligible for appearing in the IBPS PO 2022 exam is a degree or graduation in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the final result should have been declared on or before 10.11.2021.
The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
The selection process for IBPS PO 2021 recruitments saw no changes. It consists of three stages:
The whole recruitment process is generally wrapped up in February/March 2022 & the results will be declared soon afterwards.
Candidates will have to clear the Prelims or first Phase of the IBPS PO exam 2022, in order to reach the Mains exam. The preliminary exam is a 1 hour exam, divided by 20 minutes for each section, which will be conducted in online mode. It has 3 sections which invite a total of 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The structure of the Prelims Exam which will be conducted online, is as follows:

Note:
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.
The IBPO PO Main exam will also be conducted online. It will have 5 sections with a total score of 200+25 marks and total duration of 180+30 minutes. The candidates who will clear both preliminary and mains examinations will become eligible for the interview process.

Note:
Candidates who clear Mains will be called for the interview which will be conducted by the Participating Organisations and will carry a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The interview is about 15-20 minutes long, where the panel members ask questions related to the candidates, banking sector, current affairs, general awareness, etc. The candidates will have to carry all the required documents to the interview.Interviews will be conducted at selected centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from the official IBPS website. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the mains examination and interview. The final score is calculated by IBPS with weightage of marks given to the main examination and interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively. Candidates should qualify both in the Online Main Exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process.
