Details Mentioned on the Scorecard
Your scorecard is a comprehensive performance report. Please verify the following details:
- Candidate Name: Your full name as entered in the application.
- Registration/Roll Number: Your unique identity for this recruitment cycle.
- Category: The category you applied under (Gen/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD).
- Applied Office: The specific RBI regional office you applied to (e.g., Mumbai, Delhi, etc.).
- Sectional Marks: Your individual scores in English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Ability.
- Total Score: Your aggregate marks after normalization.
- Sectional & Overall Cut-offs: The minimum marks required for your category and region.
Normalisation of Marks
Since the RBI Assistant exam is conducted across multiple shifts, the difficulty level of the question papers may vary slightly. To ensure a level playing field, RBI uses the equi-percentile method for normalisation. This process adjusts your raw score based on the difficulty of your specific shift compared to others. Consequently, your final score on the scorecard may be slightly different from your calculated raw attempts.
What After the Scorecard?
- If you qualify: The Prelims score is only for qualifying. Your focus must shift entirely to the Mains Exam (June 7, 2026). The final merit is decided solely by your Mains performance + passing the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
- If you didn't qualify: Use the scorecard to identify your "weak section." Since RBI Assistant has very high cut-offs (often 90+ in many regions), even a 0.25 difference matters; this data will help you bridge the gap for the next recruitment cycle or other banking exams.
