Selection Process

The selection process for the recruitment involves three stages: the Preliminary Examination, followed by the Main Examination, and finally a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Eligibility requires a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD). Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old as of February 01, 2026 (born between 02.02.1998 and 01.02.2006).

Salary and Growth

The RBI Assistant will have a starting basic pay of ₹29,000/- per month. Including allowances, the initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) will be approximately ₹58,514/-.   • Gen/OBC/EWS: ₹450 + 18% GST
