Suvam Swaim’s Success Story

Hello friends I am Suvam. I have started my preparation in mid of 2019. I started by applying randomly for every exam which used to come but failed all of them after that I decided to give the banking exam and solely depend on online and youtube material that was present at that time. I analyzed why I failed those exams and started working on them I had purchased PracticeMock test series which similar to the actual exam level. By giving regular mocks and proper analysis I found that my speed and accuracy improved drastically.

I gave LIC assistant and SBI clerk and for the first time I have cleared prelims of any exam but I couldn’t clear the mains of any of them. After that Lockdown begins and I knew that God has given me time to utilize this time and now I have completely changed my strategy and started preparing for mains along with prelims. After lockdown notification came for IBPS PO/Clerk, SBI PO/Clerk and I have cleared all prelims and cleared mains of SBI PO and IBPS PO and finally got CANARA Bank.

I used to read one newspaper article one in a day and used to watch English movies with a subtitle which help me sentence formation and rest I used to do in mocks

In quant, I followed Amar sir for high-level DI and used mains mocks question to solve them. But the most important things is to clear the basics of each chapter to know the multiples, roots, decimal to quickly solve the question

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

Reasoning is my favourite and For reasoning I cleared my basics such as direction, relations, alphanumeric and used to do 5 high-level puzzles daily to improve my speed

I followed Affairscloud for daily note-taking for current affairs and used to give practiceMock GA quizzes at night , in this way I memorized current affairs and during exams, I used to print out weekly basis current affairs to revise.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

Buy at least two mock test series and try to give them in uneven times so that during the exam you don’t feel nervous or tense. After giving mock again solve each question and analyze in which section you lag and the most important always believe yourself and have complete faith and one day you will clear the exam for sure. To minimize my social media and gaming i uninstalled each and every useless apps from my smartphone and stay away for negativity.
