Hi friends, my name is Tania Ray and I cleared IBPS Clerk 2020 and I started preparing for banking exams on 2019 August. On 2019 August I started my preparation for Bank exams. It was the journey of ups and downs. All i did is motivating myself imagining my goal, imagining the day when i will hug my parents with success. As far as the previous exams are concerned, mentioned below are the ones which I gave:

Section-wise Preparation Strategy

English Section Preparation Strategy

My English was strong. But sometimes I got lots of negatives initially. That time I really felt demotivated because I had to make it strong. Then I started reading Hindu Editorial daily. I solved lots of questions from PracticeMock sectional test. Truly speaking I really liked the English section of practicemock mock test. I was exam level fully. No out of context questions were there. All i did is this for English. Banking English is all about comprehending skill. So as soon as possible you have to develop this skill.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

This was my weakest section. I never got good marks in this section. First I cleared my arithmetic concept. You have to go through once atleast. I practiced simplification & approximation, number series , quadratic equation daily. Initially I solved prelims level DI then I shifted completely to mains level hard DI. Only DI can save you so As much as you can ,solve Various types of DIs. I skipped Mensuration and permutations combination and probability. These were out of my reach. I got Exam level DIs in practicemock mock test.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

I loved this part. Reasoning becomes really interesting if you get to know the proper approach. Firstly I learned all the miscellaneous topics and practiced well then I practiced lots of prelims level puzzle and seating arrangement. You have to solve every questions within time only then you can fetch good marks in reasoning section. I solved mains level puzzle s 1 or 2 daily. I would like to suggest everyone start solving mains level puzzle from initial stage , you will see great improvement. PracticeMock helped me in reasoning section because its reasoning is really hard level even prelims level puzzles are so hard , it will let our brains work in a good manner which helps in mains exam.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I read daily current affairs. I never made notes. Only I would suggest to note indexes ,ranks .I made notes of Banking Awareness. I revised weekly and monthly. You have to revise it properly otherwise nothing will work.

Overall Strategy & Study Schedule

Overall strategy is Panning, Hardwork and using reliable resources. I bifurcated a day in 3 schedule. Morning , Afternoon , Evening. In morning I did reading editorial, speed math and DIs because it was my weak section so in fresh mind i could solve that… In afternoon I studied English and in Evening I studied Reasoning and CA because That time I got a little bit tired.so in this way I made my schedule. Yes, I think everyone faces it at the time of preparation. When i got poor marks in mock , that time it was really tough to keep motivated. It’s like Die and wake up. Only that time you have to remind the purpose why you started preparation.
