I have started my preparation in 2017 towards SSC CGL2018 .I am hereby sharing my SSC CGL Success Story with practicemock as PM helped me so much in improving & clearing my exam. Read my success story below.
Which exams did you appear till date and their results?
I have appeared in upsc exam after two attempts I have decided to go with SSC CGL exam. by the grace of god I got great rank in first attempt SSC CGL 2018
SSC CGL preparation strategy
Start reverse engineering ,firstly you have to start with test by itself,Don’t go with books.by using this technique you know your strength and weakness by score.after that fulfill your gaps so you can improve your weakness in section only that manner you can utilize your time and focus on exams
on the other side English is my strength so I know that easily score on that section but my Quant was poor so I’ve to give much time on this section to score average in Quant.To start with, I cleared the basic concepts (not the shortcuts or tricks) of each topic and then learned the tricks to solve maximum questions you have to strong both English and mathematics sections.
In reasoning, there are few topics that are very important such as Clock, Calendar,Dice and Series. I solved the books chapter-wise and made note of important questions in a separate notebook and revised it at the end. I feel this is the only way to score well in reasoning because in SSC CGL exam reasoning is not as much logical as it is in Bank Exams. Apart from this I went through all the previous papers and Practicemock Mock Test Papers and practiced them.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:I went through previous year question bank, Lucent GK and Paramount notes of GK. But I would suggest not to spend most of your time in this section because even if you do, scoring well is a bit difficult as compared to the other sections.
Overall Strategy
I again started with basics and watched many YouTube channels if there was any shortcuts and attempted more and more mocks..you have to give lots mocks test its improve your score and maintain your consistency towards exams.Hard work will definitely pay off but we need patience, confidence and mainly consistency.
