PM: Please brief us on when did you start preparing for the competitive exams and how was your preparation journey.

Kajal: I started my preparation in June 2019. firstly cleared my basics. Tried to understand the different available concepts chapter wise and also tried my hand on different methods for a particular question. PM: Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?

Kajal: Appeared for the below exams:

  • IBPS PO 2020- Result Awaited
  • IBPS Clerk 2020- Result Awaited
  • RRB PO 2020- Cleared
  • RRB Clerk 2020- Cleared
  • SBI PO 2020- Cleared
  • SBI Clerk 2020- Couldn’t Clear

PM: How did you prepare for the English section?

Kajal: For this section, I started reading editorials on a daily basis and tried to solve each and every comprehension available in my PracticeMock package. Also attempted the sectional tests available. I tried to solve comprehensions freely available on the internet. Learning and revising vocabulary was a part of my daily routine.

PM: How did you prepare for the Quantitative Aptitude section?

Kajal: Firstly I cleared the basics and tried to solve 100+ sums of each chapter. Then I switched to sectional test available and then full-length mock tests thus checking my hand on the miscellaneous questions.

PM: How did you prepare for the Reasoning section?

Kajal: Similar to quants, in reasoning also after clearing my basics I switched to mocks (sectional + full length). I tried to solve almost all the questions of the PracticeMock available in different test series.

PM: How did you prepare for the General Awareness section?

Kajal: Prepared GA on a daily basis and then revised it from monthly pdfs.

PM: What was your overall strategy? Did you follow a study schedule? If yes, please share the details.

Kajal: I scheduled my time day-wise. Like per day I decided to devote at least 8 to 9 hrs and I devoted it on a regular basis. Even time for a particular day was also decided to be devoted to which type of concepts and questions.

PM: Did you face any hurdle as well? How did you overcome it?

Kajal: The main hurdle in my preparation was the phase of lockdown. But also it was a blessing in disguise as it gave me time to prepare without the pressure of any exam.
