Hi, I am Ajay. I started preparing for the competitive exams in year 2020 only. The exams for which I appeared till date are as mentioned below:
- SBI JA 2020– Cleared prelims; failed in mains
- IBPS PO 2020– SELECTED
- IBPS CLERK 2020–SELECTED
- RBI ASSISTANT 2020– Failed Mains
Section-wise Preparation Strategy
English Section Preparation Strategy
I used to read hindu editorials daily. PM app provide daily vocabulary of Hindu editorials. I also used to read them. Besides; I also solved 2 RCs daily.
Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy
My main focus is on high level DI. I solve 3-4 high level mains level DI daily which comprises of ratio and proportions; percentage; arithmetic and logics. I gave the QA sectionals and mini mocks from PM app. PM mains mock is very close to this year IBPS PO and Clerk mains .
Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy
This is the section I love and like most. I solve daily 3-5 very high level puzzles and 20 miscellaneous questions of various topics in mixed form. I used to solve compound questions such as Blood direction mixed with directions.
General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy
I am not so much good in this section but I follow Affairs cloud PDFs and its youtube channel. I got decent score. Reading the materials twice and thrice is the key rather reading from different sources.
Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced
I gave 6 hours to self study – 2 hours for each subject. Sunday ; I gave for mock test analysis and Current affairs revision. Yes; network issues; anxiety; financial problems. But I think believe in you and be consistent and you will be successful.
