Phase 1/ Tier 1 of the SSC GD syllabus has 4 subjects

  1. General Intelligence and Reasoning
  2. Elementary Mathematics
  3. General Knowledge & General Awareness
  4. English/ Hindi

Here are some important points on the SSC GD exam pattern that candidates must know:

  • Phase 1/ Tier 1 consists of 4 different subjects having 100 objective type questions with 4 options.
  • Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The questions and options will be given both in English and Hindi languages.
  • Candidates will get 90 minutes of total time to complete test.
  • SSC has pre-fixed the minimum cut-off marks for the computer-based examination. For General/Ex-Servicemen it is 35%, For OBC/ SC/ ST it is 33%
