SSC CGL Number of Attempts

There is no fixed number of attempts in SSC CGL. You can appear for the exam as many times as you want, as long as you are within the age limit for the post you are applying for.

For example, if the age limit for a post is 18 to 30 years, and you first became eligible at age 21, you have 9 possible attempts (from age 21 to 30, one attempt per year).

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are eligible to apply for SSC CGL 2026 with special conditions:
