Hi friends, my name is Riyanshee Gupta and today I am sharing my success story with you all by the medium of PracticeMock. I started preparing in 2020 only and appeared in almost every examination, however after doing a lot of hardwork and facing many troubles I finally managed to clear IBPS Clerk exam. Here I am discussing with you all my section wise exam preparation strategy and what hurdles I faced and how PracticeMock has helped me in achieving my success. I started preparing in 2020 only, despite i started in 2020 I’ve given exams in 2019 also without preparing just to know the pattern, and i cleared ibps po 2019 pre, but as I didn’t started preparing so I couldn’t clear the mains, but that time i became so sure that next time I will definitely crack it. Then in 2020 I cleared almost every pre exam and also cleared my SBI PO mains. But unfortunately I missed my name in the final merit list. But fortunately I cleared IBPS Clerk and got Punjab National Bank.

I appeared for almost every exam as i mentioned, but unfortunately, in some i missed in my mains, in others i missed final merit list but finally I have cleared IBPS Clerk.

Section-wise Preparation Strategy

English Section Preparation Strategy

For english, I used to read daily editorial section from The Hindu, and vocabulary revision and i followed Nimisha Bansal ma’am on Unacademy platform, and the main source which helped me is PracticeMock itself, because I am not so good in English in comparison to other subjects, So mainly i used to give sectional mock test of English and English quizzes other than the full mocks and the vocab section of your mocks is so good, this is the main source of my preparation

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

For Quant, i completed 3-4 books for my arithmetic section, and i followed Aashish Arora sir on unacademy platform, His way of teaching and the way of tackling the questions is mind blowing, but as we all know there are limited sources available for mains level content, but PracticeMock will never make you feel that, the level of the question in this site is awesome and the DIs available here are mind blowing, they helped me a lot.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

For Reasoning, i cleared my basic concepts from youtube and then i started preparing mains level content, mains level puzzle from different sites, mains level puzzle are available everywhere but what is not available is logical reasoning, the content for this section is so limited so you can find that only on mocks which i found here.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

For GA, i am very bad at this section, so i followed so many platforms, daily CA i studied from Ashish Gautam sir and Kapil kathpal sir, then for monthly pdf i followed Gradeup, monthly mcq i did from study iq and for last 10 days i studies from Adda capsule.

Overall Strategy & Study Schedule

Overall strategy was not to bound myself in a time schedule, rather i used to make a daily To-do list, for some days i daily made a to-do list, but then I realized that daily it remains same almost, so i made a to-do list and pasted that on my wall but daily I used to give a single new target, means i should follow the to-do list and then this daily one target.

Hurdles are always there when you do something, i also faced them. My mother, she got covid positive in November month and all the exams were lined up that time, work load got increased and with that pressure i went into depression, still i didn’t overcome from that, still i’m suffering from anxiety but it didn’t stop me clearing that, i used to work all day, all my home stuff, cooking and all, then in night i used to study, i felt low some days but i never let that depression become my hurdle.
