  • Negative marking, equivalent to 1/4th of the question’s marks, applies to both Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase I.
  • In Phase I, Paper 1 requires a minimum cutoff of 30% (without sectional cutoffs), while Paper 2 necessitates a minimum of 40%.
  • To qualify for Phase II, candidates must meet individual cutoffs for each paper, along with an aggregate cutoff of 40% in Phase I. Phase I marks solely determine Phase II shortlisting and does not factor into final candidate selection.

IFSCA conducts interview rounds for Grade A officer posts to assess the personality of candidates. The process of the interview begins with a self-introduction then, questions asked on IFSCA functioning, banking, and financial news from the interview panelists. IFSCA Grade A final merit list is prepared after final interview round.

IFSCA Grade A Syllabus 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for the IFSCA Grade A examination is rigorous and comprises multiple stages, including prelims, mains, and an interview. Only those candidates who will get shortlisted will be called for the interview round. The application fee is not refundable for the candidates who are not shortlisted for Phase II and the Interview round.
