Ques How many vacancies are there? Will the vacancies increase?

Ans There is a total of 5,830 vacancies. Nothing can be said for sure for the increase in vacancies, but since some banks haven’t declared their vacancies, there is a little probability of vacancies being increased in due time.

Ques What are the items to be scanned & uploaded during the application process?

Ans Please keep the below items handy which need to be scanned & uploaded during the application process:

  • Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)

Ques Is there any Percentage Criteria to apply for IBPS Clerk 2021 Vacancies?

Ans No! There are no percentage criteria. Any Graduate can apply for these vacancies.

Ques How to calculate the Graduation Percentage for the purpose of indicating in the form?

Ans You should calculate the percentage marks by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks (in all the subjects, irrespective of honours /optional/additional optional subject, if any) multiplied by 100. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.

Ques My university/college does not award marks/result in percentage, and it allows aggregate grade points such as CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc. In this case, how should I calculate my marks in percentage value?

Ans Wherever CGPA / OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted into percentage and indicated in the online application. The candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating that the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.

Ques I’m in the final year of my graduation. Can I apply?

Ans No! As per the notification, you must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that you are a graduate on the day you register and you should also indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before August 01, 2021, has to be submitted at the time of joining.

Ques Is there a restriction on the number of attempts in this exam?

Ans No! There isn’t any such restriction. You can take the exam as many numbers of times as you wish provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria.

Ques What’s the salary structure of an IBPS Clerk?

Ans An IBPS Clerk has a basic pay of Rs 11,765. The pay scale is 11765 – 655/3 – 13730 – 815/3 – 16175 – 980/4 – 20095 – 1145/7 – 28110 – 2120/1 – 30230 – 1310/1 – 31540. Apart from this, they also get other perks and benefits, which ultimately take their salary in hand to Rs 21,000 to Rs 23,000. However, it may vary depending on the job location and the bank they are selected for.

Ques In my High school results, Computer wasn’t mentioned as a subject. But I studied it during my school days. Can I apply for these vacancies?

Ans You should have either a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ or should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

Ques My age is 33 years 3 months. Am I eligible to apply for IBPS Clerk 2019 Vacancies?

Ans The maximum age limit is 28 years. However, there are certain relaxation of the upper age limit for different categories for which you can refer to the notification

Ques I’ve studied Hindi as a subject until class X. Would I have to take the language proficiency test?

Ans If it’s mentioned as a subject in your class X mark sheet, then you wouldn’t have to take the language proficiency test.

Ques Are there any changes in the IBPS Clerk 2021 exam pattern? Or it has remained the same?

Ans No! There isn’t any change in the exam pattern from the last year’s exam pattern.

Ques Can the application form details be edited after being submitted?

 Ans No! You can use the ‘save and edit’ option to save your details and edit them. It’s advisable to double-check each and every piece of info and then submit it. Once submitted, the details can’t be edited. 

Ques If I belong to OBC category as per state norms but not in the central list. Which category should I mention in the application form?

Ans If the caste category isn’t defined in the central list, the candidates will be considered in the General Category.

Ques Can the Exam Center be changed after submitting the Online Application Form?

 Ans No, The exam center can’t be changed once the application form has been submitted.

Ques Can the candidates change their bank preferences?

Ans No, once the application has been submitted, the bank preferences can’t be changed.

Ans If the language of the state for which you have applied is mentioned as a subject in your class X mark sheet, then you wouldn’t have to take the language proficiency test; else you will have to take the language proficiency test.

Ques Can I apply for more than one state in the IBPS Clerk exam?

Ans No, You have to apply for only one state or union territory.
