How to prepare for Quants section for IBPS RRB Clerk
Master the basics before starting the preparation of core topics
Before starting the quant topic preparation, master fraction, decimal conversions and percentage fraction conversions. Make sure to start the preparation by memorising cube roots, square roots, at least up to 30. Improve speed maths by practising questions
If you are not able to solve speed maths with 90% accuracy, along with maintaining speed, then practice as many questions as you can. Topics such as simplification, approximation, quadratic equations, number series, and wrong number series come under the speed maths section. To complete these, you need to practice at least 25 questions from the simplification and approximation sections daily. This will improve your calculation, which is important for the RRB Clerk examination. If you complete these many topics, you have completed 20% of the total quants portion.

Master topics such as percentage, ratio and proportion and average. DI sets questions are asked based on these concepts only. If you master these topics, it will help you in solving DI sets. In arithmetic, basic topics such as percentage and all you’ve already mastered. Now you have to pick up time and work, then pipe and cistern.
