  • Strategy:
    • Memorise tables (up to 20), squares (up to 30), cubes (up to 15), and fraction-to-percentage conversions.
    • Practice 20–30 simplification/approximation questions daily for speed.
    • Solve 1–2 DI sets daily (focus on calculation speed).
    • Practice 10–15 questions each on number series and quadratic equations.
    • Revise arithmetic formulas daily; solve 10–15 word problems.

Candidates can attempt the Quant free topic test & the free mini mock test to boost their score in the IBPS PO Quant section.

4. Prioritise High-Scoring Topics:

  • Simplification/Approximation: Practice 20-30 questions daily. Focus on BODMAS rule and quick mental calculations. These are quick to solve and have high accuracy.
  • Data Interpretation (DI): Master tabular, bar, pie, and line graph-based DI. Practice 4-5 DI sets daily, focusing on percentage, ratio, and average-based questions. Learn shortcut techniques for faster calculations.
