How to Fill SSC CGL 2025 Form?
Here we have provided the steps to apply for SSC CGL 2025 form. Candidates are planning to appear in the SSC CGL exam and have not filled out the form yet, are highly advised to follow the steps below carefully.
Part-A: One-Time Registration (OTR)
- Read Instructions Carefully: Please read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before filling up the online ‘One-time Registration Form’ and “Application Form”.
- Gather Information: Before proceeding the One-time Registration, keep the following information/documents ready: Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP), Email ID (to be verified through OTP), Aadhaar Card Number (if not available, any other specified Identity numbers like Voter Identity Card, PAN, Passport, Driving License, School/College Identity Card, Employer Identity Card (Government/PSU/Private)), Information about the Examination Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination, and Disability Certificate Number, if you are a Person with Benchmark Disability.
- Register: For One-time Registration (OTR), click on the “Login or Register” button.
- Fill Personal Details: Fill your name exactly as given in the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate. In case any changes in your name have been made after matriculation (10th Class), indicate the same. Indicate your Gender (Male/Female/Transgender). Fill your Date of Birth (DoB) exactly as given in Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate. Fill your Father’s name exactly as given in the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate. Fill your Mother’s name exactly as given in the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate.
- Aadhaar Authentication: Provide the information about the Aadhaar Number. If you don’t have an Aadhaar Number, you are required to upload specified documents for proof of Name, Date of Birth, Address, Photograph, and Gender.
- Create Password: When the Basic Details provided are saved, you will be required to confirm your mobile number and email ID. On confirmation, your data will be saved, and your Registration Number will be displayed on the screen. Your Registration Number and Password will be provided to you on your mobile number and Email ID. Change your password when prompted on first login.
- Additional Details: Provide information about your Category. Provide information about your Nationality. Provide Contact Details if other than Indian National. Provide information about the visible Identification Mark. Provide information about benchmark disabilities, if any. Provide information about your Permanent and Present Address.
- Final Submission: Save the information provided. Take the print of the draft Preview and review the information provided thoroughly, before “Final Submit”. Upon clicking the “Final Submit” button, two different OTPs will be sent to your mobile number and Email ID. You need to enter one of the two OTPs in the designated field to complete the Registration Process. Read the “Declaration” carefully, and if you agree with the Declaration, click “I Agree”.
- Caution: You can not edit/modify your One-time Registration data; you must be very cautious while filling up the details in the One-time Registration. Wrong/incorrect information may lead to the cancellation of your candidature.
Part B: Filling Online Application for the Examination
- Login: Log in to the online system through your ‘Registration Number’ and Password.
- Apply for CGL 2025: Click the ‘Apply’ link in the ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025’ Section under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab.
- Auto-filled Information: Information in columns S No. 1 to 18 will be automatically filled from your One-time Registration Data, which is non-editable.
- Educational Qualification: Indicate the highest educational qualification possessed by you (S No. 19). Indicate details of “qualifying” educational qualification (S No. 20).
- Ex-Servicemen/Age Relaxation: If you are serving in the Armed Forces or are an ex-serviceman, fill up the required information (S No-21). If you are seeking age relaxation, select the appropriate age-relaxation category (S No. 22).
- Personal Information Disclosure: See Notice of Examination, Para No. 21 and fill up accordingly (S No. 23).
- Examination Centers: Give your preference for Examination Centers (S No. 24). You may choose examination Centers within the same Region. Choice for all three Centers must be given in the order of preference.
- Scribe Requirement (for PwBD/PwD candidates):
- Provide information on whether you are a person with benchmark disabilities (40% or more) in the category of blindness (VH) (S No-25.1).
- Provide information on whether you are a person with benchmark disabilities (40% or more) in the category of OH- Both Arms Affected (OH-BA) or OH- Cerebral Palsy (OH-CP) (S No-25.2).
- Indicate if you have a physical limitation to write as per Para 7.2 or 7.3 of the Notice, and a scribe is required to write on your behalf (S No-25.3).
- If you are eligible to avail the facility of a scribe as per Para-7 of the Notice of examination, provide information about the requirement of a scribe (S No-25.4 to 25.6).
- Junior Statistical Officer/Statistical Investigator Grade-II Posts: Indicate if you are also applying for the Post of Junior Statistical Officer (MOSPI) (S. No. 26.1) and if you possess EQ for the post (S. No. 26.2). Indicate if you are also applying for the Post of Statistical Investigator Grade II (RGI) (S. No. 27.1) and if you possess EQ for the post (S. No. 27.2).
- Upload Photograph and Signature: Upload your live Photograph without spectacles/cap. Applications with blurred photographs will be rejected. Upload your signature. Applications with blurred/miniature signatures will be rejected.
- Preview and Submit: While seeing the preview, you may kindly check all the details entered are correct and that instructions regarding photograph/ signature are duly followed. Complete your declaration by clicking on the “I agree” check box and filling up the captcha code. On verification of the correctness of your application data as visible in Preview, proceed with the Application.
- Fee Payment: Proceed to make the fee payment if you are not exempt from payment of the fee. The fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards. Fee payable: ₹100/- (Rs one hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
- Print Application: When the application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted Provisionally. The candidate must take a printout of the application form.
