These are reasoning problems where people live on different floors of a building. Sometimes, they are placed in two flats per floor (Flat I and Flat II). You have to read the clues carefully and figure out who lives where.
You need to create a structure (a table or diagram) and place each person according to the clues.

Directions(1-5): Answer the questions based on the information given below.
Ten persons P through Y live on ten different flats of a five-storey building, where the ground floor is numbered as 1 and floor immediately above the ground floor is numbered as 2 and so on. Each floor has 2 flats i.e., Flat – I and II. On every floor, Flat – I is in west of Flat – II. The dimensions of each of the flats are same. Only one person lives in each flat. Flat – I of floor – 2 is immediately above Flat – I of floor – 1 and immediately below the flat – I of floor – 3 and so on.
Note: If there are two persons live between two persons then these two persons may or may not live in same type of flat. Also, if P lives in flat – I, P and Q live in same type of flats which means Q also, lives in flat – I.

1. Start with the sure clues
Begin with direct statements like “Q lives on flat-I on an even floor.” Place this on your diagram first.
2. Draw a clear table
Make a table with floor numbers (from 5 to 1) and two flats (I and II) on each floor. Keep updating as you read clues.
3. Use keywords like “immediately above/below” carefully
These words give strong hints about placement, don’t mix them with “somewhere above/below.”
4. Note same-type flat conditions
If “Q and T live in the same type of flats,” they both must be in either flat I or flat II. Track these carefully.
5. Practice daily
