Document Required For SBI PO Apply Online 2025: Before filling the SBI PO application form, candidates need some required documents, including a valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport or voter ID as well as a passport-sized photograph that matches the one uploaded during the application. Documents Required for SBI PO Apply Online 2025

Before starting SBI PO apply online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/ her photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as per the specifications given in the table below. The SBI PO Online application will not be registered unless candidates upload a photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as specified. Candidates should check all the documents’ required sizes and dimensions so that candidates can easily apply for the SBI PO 2025 exam.

• Active email address
• Valid mobile number
• Candidate’s recent passport-size photo and signature
• Marksheets of Class X, XII, and Graduation
• Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
• Scanned copy of category(caste) certificate (if applicable)

• In case the face in the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression & hand-written declaration is unclear, the applicant’s candidature may be rejected. 
• In case the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression & hand-written declaration is unclear, the candidate may edit his/ her application and re-upload his/ her photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression & hand-written declaration prior to submitting the form.

Documents Required For SBI PO Application Form

• The photograph must be a recent passport-style colour picture. 
• Make sure that the picture is coloured and is taken against a light-coloured, preferably white background. 
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face 
• If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows 
• If you have to use flash, ensure there is no “red-eye” 
• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes are clearly visible. • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover the face. 
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) 
• The size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb 
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning. 
• Candidate should retain 8 copies (approx.) of the same photograph which is uploaded at the time of online registration of the application as these would be needed for further process of this selection process.

Documents Required For SBI PO Application Form

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen. 
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person. 
• The signature will be used to put on the Call Letter and wherever necessary.
• If the Applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Call Letter, the Applicant will be disqualified.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) 
• The size of the file should be between 10kb to 20kb 
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb 
• Signatures in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.

Documents Required For SBI PO Application Form, Left Thumb Impression

• The applicant has to put his left-hand thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink. 
• Dimension: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 3 cm x 3 cm (Width x Height)
• The Left Hand Thumb Impression File Size is 20 kb- 50 kb.

Step-by-step guide to the SBI PO Apply Online Process for 2025-26:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

• Go to www.sbi.co.in
• Click on ‘Careers’ in the top right corner.
• Under ‘Latest Announcements’, find the SBI PO Recruitment link.

Step 2: Read the Notification

• Download and carefully read the official SBI PO notification.
• Check eligibility criteria, important dates, and documents required.

Step 3: Click on ‘Apply Online’

• Click on the ‘Apply Online’ or ‘New Registration’ link.
• You’ll be redirected to the IBPS Online Application Portal.

Step 4: Register Yourself

• Click on ‘New Registration’.
• Fill in your Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Security Code.
• Submit and get your Registration Number and Password on email & SMS.

Step 5: Fill the Application Form

• Log in with your Registration Number and Password.
• Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, preferences, etc.
• Choose your exam center.

Step 6: Upload Documents

• Upload Passport-size Photo (as per size/dimension instructions).
• Upload Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwritten Declaration.
• Make sure files are in JPG/JPEG format and within size limits.

Step 7: Preview & Verify

• Check all details carefully.
• Edit if needed — once submitted, you can’t change details.

Step 8: Pay the Application Fee

• Pay the fee using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
• Fee varies by category — check the notification for the exact amount.
• Save the payment receipt.

Step 9: Final Submit

• After payment, the final submit button will be activated.
• Submit your application.

Step 10: Save & Print

• Download and print the completed application form and fee receipt.
