Latest Update: Rules for Detecting Non-genuine Scores

The IBPS outlines standards for detecting non-genuine scores in its examinations. It reviews test data, candidate identification, venue reports, response patterns, and any irregularities to ensure only genuine candidates are credited. IBPS analyses similarities in right and wrong answers across candidates, including both objective and descriptive tests, checking for collusion, copied content, padding, and inconsistent answering methods. Application data and past records may also be examined. When evidence suggests non-genuine scoring, a specialised committee reviews each case before cancelling scores or candidature. These procedures align with international testing practices and have been upheld by Indian courts.
