Is Issuance of the SBI PO Admit Card Final Confirmation of Eligibility?

No. Issuance of the SBI PO Admit Card 2026 does not mean that SBI has finally accepted a candidate’s eligibility.

Admission to each recruitment stage remains provisional. SBI verifies age, educational qualification, category and other eligibility documents during the Interview or later stages. The candidature may be cancelled if the candidate does not fulfil the prescribed conditions.

How to Prepare After Downloading the SBI PO Admit Card?

After downloading the call letter, candidates should check their shift, centre and available preparation time. Attempt an SBI PO mock test under the same 60-minute time limit and analyse:

  • Section-wise attempts
  • Accuracy rate
  • Time spent per question
  • Questions skipped
  • Marks lost through negative marking

The SBI PO Prelims examination applies a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each incorrect answer. Therefore, candidates should balance speed with accuracy rather than attempting questions through guesswork.
