What is CAIIB?
The CAIIB, which is the Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, is an advanced-level professional certification exam. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). The exam will be in online mode only. The candidates can appear in this exam only after qualifying for the JAIIB exam. Both of these exams are conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). The candidates get 5 attempts or 3 years (whichever is earlier) to clear this exam. This exam is conducted to test the banking personnel’s advanced knowledge in banking, credit, and risk management sectors. The CAIIB exam consists of four compulsory papers and one optional paper. This exam is conducted twice a year, first in June and the second in November-December. A total of 100 questions of 100 marks are asked in each paper of a 2-hour duration.
