After qualifying for this exam, the candidates working as bank clerks receive a salary increment of Rs. 1340, and Bank POs receive a salary increment of Rs. 2000 per month. The JAIIB aspirants have to pay a lifetime membership fee of Rs. 1770 to apply for the exam. The aspirants get a total of 5 attempts to clear this exam. There are a total of 4 papers in this exam, each of 2 hours duration. There is no negative marking in the JAIIB certification exam. The exam pattern for JAIIB is given below:

Note: To qualify in JAIIB exam candidates need to score a minimum of 50 marks out of 100 in each subject.

What is CAIIB?

The CAIIB, which is the Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, is an advanced-level professional certification exam. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). The exam will be in online mode only. The candidates can appear in this exam only after qualifying for the JAIIB exam. Both of these exams are conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). The candidates get 5 attempts or 3 years (whichever is earlier) to clear this exam. This exam is conducted to test the banking personnel’s advanced knowledge in banking, credit, and risk management sectors. The CAIIB exam consists of four compulsory papers and one optional paper. This exam is conducted twice a year, first in June and the second in November-December. A total of 100 questions of 100 marks are asked in each paper of a 2-hour duration. There is no negative marking, and the medium of the exam is Hindi/English. The exam pattern of the CAIIB professional certification exam is provided in the table format below.
