Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Online Preliminary and Online Main examinations) 

There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Can students of any stream apply for the exam?

No. Only the students of the following stream can apply:- B. E. /B.Tech. Degree (4 years) in 1) Computer Science 2) Computer Applications 3) Information Technology 4) Electronics 5) Electronics and Telecommunication 6) Electronics and Communication 7) Electronics and Instrumentation Post Graduate Degree in 1) Electronics 2) Electronics and Telecommunication 3)Electronics and Communication 4)Electronics and Communication 5)Electronics and Instrumentation 6)Computer Science 5) Information Technology 6) Computer Applications Graduates having passed DOEACC ‘B Level’. Is there any negative marking? +

Yes. 1/4th of the marks for each question will be deducted if you get it wrong. Hence, for Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude 0.25 marks, for English 0.125 and for Professional knowledge 0.375 marks for each wrong question will be deducted.

When will the online registrations for IBPS SO 2022 will start? +

The IBPS SO 2022 recruitment notification is not out yet. The start date for the online registrations will be mentioned in the notification. We will update the same once the notification gets released.

What is the Age Limit for IBPS SO? +

The candidate should be 20 to 30 years of age. The candidate should be born on or after 2nd August 1991 and born on or before 1st August 2001. Upper age relaxations are provided to reserved categories. The age relaxations are given below:
