Who Cannot Apply for SBI Clerk 2022?

Here are the candidates who cannot apply for the upcoming SBI Clerk 2022 exam:

  1. Candidates who are working in SBI in the Clerical or Officer cadre are not eligible to apply under this project. Candidates who were earlier employed in State Bank of India and resigned from the Bank while in clerical or officer cadre will also be not eligible to apply for the post.
  2. Candidates against whom there is/ are adverse report regarding character & antecedents, moral turpitude etc. are not eligible to apply for the post.
  3. Candidates with record of default in repayment of loans/ credit card dues and/ or against whose name adverse report of CIBIL or other agencies is available, will not be appointed in case of selection. The position in this regard will be verified before joining.

SBI Clerk Nationality Criteria 2022

The candidates must be either a

(ii) Citizen of India or

(ii) A subject of Nepal or

(iii) A subject of Bhutan or

(iv) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v)  A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania

(vi) Migrated students need to read the details provided by SBI through the brochure.

Can final-year student apply for SBI clerk 2022?

Yes, final year degree candidates can also apply for SBI Clerk 2022 exam provisionally. Those candidates who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected. They will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 16.08. 2021.
