NOTE: According to last year’s SEBI handout, the total exam time is 180 minutes – Paper 1 for 60 minutes and Paper 2 for 120 minutes (based on the stream you choose). But remember, you need to be at the exam centre for around 240 minutes. This includes time for attendance, submitting your call letter with a photocopy of your photo ID, logging in, and other formalities.

The SEBI Grade A Salary 2025 offers an impressive pay scale and attractive benefits. The pay scale for officers in Grade A is ₹62,500–3600(4)–76,900–4050(7)–1,05,250–EB–4050(4)–1,21,450–4650(1)–1,26,100, progressing over 17 years. At present, the gross emoluments, including SEBI’s contribution towards the National Pension Scheme (NPS), various allowances such as Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Special Allowance, Family Allowance, and Local Allowance, amount to approximately ₹1,84,000 per month without accommodation and ₹1,43,000 per month with accommodation (at Mumbai).
