Revision Plan for IBPS PO Mains 2025
In this section, we are providing the revision plan for IBPS PO Mains 2025 exam. Use this plan to revise in the last 5-6 days to better your performance in the mains exam, as it requires high accuracy and focus, which can be attained if preparation and especially revision are done strategically.
Day 1 and Day 2
For the first two days, you should focus on revision of the most important topics that can yield you the highest marks in the examination. For example, talking about the reasoning section, focus on practising puzzles and input-output questions as they procure maximum marks in the examination. For DI, you should solve 4-5 DI sets daily, which consist of caselets (pie/bar/line graphs), and make sure you can solve this within a definite time period, as a sectional time limit is there. For the English section, practice reading comprehension questions along with error detection. Revise current affairs (April-May 2025). Focus on banking awareness, RBI updates, and budget highlights. For better and focused study in banking, you can download our 500+ questions PDF of general awareness and banking. For descriptive writing, write 1 essay and practice one comprehension each day.
Day 3 and Day 4
After revision and practising the major concepts, this is the time when you should attempt at least 1 full mock test per day. In mains, the test length is more than 3 hours, and any mock test will be fruitful and will help in your preparation if you analyse your mistakes in detail after taking the mock. Check how much time is spent per section and on skipped questions. Revise weak areas identified in the mock. Also, during these days after taking the mock and analysis, you’ll have enough time for descriptive writing and revision of current affairs of July-September.
Day 5
This is the time to revise short tricks and formulas along with current affairs. This is the day when you should revisit the previous analysis of the given mocks and try to revise the mistakes and their corrections. So that in the examination hall, you will be able to recall them and avoid committing the same mistakes to score better.

- Concentrate on current affairs from the past six months, with particular focus on banking and financial awareness. Revise regulatory updates, policy changes, and institutional developments relevant to the sector.
