The IBPS Clerk Prelims exam consists of 3 sections, and the IBPS Clerk Mains exam consists of 4 sections. Note that the IBPS Clerk Exam is of 2 stages only, that is Prelims exam and the Mains exam. A local language Proficiency test is conducted for the candidates who qualify in the mains exam. There is no interview stage in the IBPS Clerk exam. Also, the Prelims exam marks are qualifying in nature, and the Mains exam marks are counted for the final result.
