SSC CGL Typing Test

The SSC CGL typing test is an important part of the SSC CGL selection process, which is conducted for some posts like Tax Assistant and Assistant Section Officer.

To clear this test, candidates are advised that their minimum typing speed for English must be 35 words per minute (wpm), and for Hindi typing speed should be 30 wpm. The SSC CGL typing test speed is calculated based on the correct words typed in 10 minutes.

SSC CGL Syllabus in Hindi

SSC CGL परीक्षा का पाठ्यक्रम चार खंडों में विभाजित होता है: सामान्य बुद्धिमत्ता एवं तर्कशक्ति, सामान्य ज्ञान, गणित (मात्रात्मक अभियोग्यता) और अंग्रेजी भाषा। सामान्य बुद्धिमत्ता में कोडिंग-डिकोडिंग, रक्त संबंध, दिशा ज्ञान, सिलोज़िज़्म, वेन डायग्राम, पजल्स, श्रृंखला, वर्गीकरण, और गैर-मौखिक तर्क जैसे विषय आते हैं। सामान्य ज्ञान में भारत का इतिहास, भूगोल, संविधान, अर्थव्यवस्था, विज्ञान, खेल, पुरस्कार, करेंट अफेयर्स, और महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी योजनाएं शामिल होती हैं। गणित में प्रतिशत, लाभ और हानि, छूट, साधारण और चक्रवृद्धि ब्याज, औसत, अनुपात-समानुपात, समय-दूरी-कार्य, बीजगणित, त्रिकोणमिति, ज्यामिति, और डाटा इंटरप्रिटेशन (DI) जैसे विषय पूछे जाते हैं। अंग्रेजी भाषा खंड में व्याकरण, शब्दावली, पर्यायवाची और विलोम शब्द, क्लोज टेस्ट, वाक्य सुधार, रिक्त स्थान भरना, कॉम्प्रिहेंशन पैसेज और एकवचन-बहुवचन से संबंधित प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं। TIER-I में उपरोक्त चारों खंडों से 25-25 प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं, प्रत्येक खंड 50 अंकों का होता है, जबकि टीयर-II में गणित और अंग्रेजी दो मुख्य पेपर होते हैं, जिनमें गणित 200 अंकों का तथा अंग्रेजी 200 अंकों का होता है। इसके अलावा कुछ पदों के लिए सांख्यिकी एवं सामान्य अध्ययन (वित्त एवं अर्थशास्त्र) का भी पेपर होता है। परीक्षा कम्प्यूटर आधारित होती है और निगेटिव मार्किंग भी लागू होती है। SSC CGL की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को प्रत्येक विषय के आधारभूत सिद्धांतों को अच्छी तरह समझकर नियमित अभ्यास और मॉक टेस्ट के माध्यम से प्रदर्शन सुधारने की आवश्यकता होती है। सही रणनीति, समय प्रबंधन और मटेरियल का चुनाव सफलता की कुंजी है।
