Crucial Warning: The gates close strictly at the mentioned “Gate Closing Time.” Even if you are 1 minute late, they will NOT let you enter. Please reach the center at least 15 minutes before the Reporting Time to be safe.
New Update: SSC GD Slot Booking 2026
For the 2026 exam, there is a buzz about “Self Slot Booking”. This means candidates might get the chance to choose their own exam date and shift, similar to banking exams.
- What to do? Keep an eye on the official website ssc.gov.in. If this link activates, book your slot immediately as it works on a “First Come, First Serve” basis.
- Admit Card: Your final Admit Card will be released 4 days before your exam date.
Important Exam Day Instructions
To avoid any panic at the center, keep these 3 things ready in your bag the night before:
- Admit Card: Print 2 copies (Color or B/W) just to be safe.
- Original ID Proof: You MUST carry an original ID like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID. (The Date of Birth on ID must match your Admit Card).
- Photos: Carry 2 recent passport-size photographs.
