Factors Affecting SSC GD Cut Off 2025

There are several factors that determine the cut-off marks. Understanding these factors can help candidates predict what to expect and better prepare for the competition. Below, we have mentioned some factors that affect the cut off marks:

  1. Total Number of Vacancies: The number of vacancies available in various forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and Assam Rifles is one of the important factors that decide the cut-off.
  2. Number of Candidates Appeared: As more candidates appear for the exam, the competition naturally becomes tougher.
  3. Exam Difficulty: The cut off marks depend on the difficulty level of the exam. If the paper is easier, more candidates will score higher marks, which leads to the increase of the cut off marks.
  4. Reservation Policies: SSC GD follows specific reservation policies for different categories (General, SC, ST, OBC, PwD). The cut-off varies across these categories, with candidates from reserved categories typically having a lower cut-off.
