The State Bank of India (SBI) holds the SBI Clerk Exam to hire candidates for the Junior Associate (Clerk) post. The SBI Clerk 2025 notification is now out on the official website along with the syllabus and exam pattern.
The exam happens in two stages – Prelims and Mains.
- Prelims is the first stage. It has 3 sections – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude (Maths), and Reasoning Ability. There are 100 questions for 100 marks, and you get 60 minutes to finish.

About the SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test
The candidates don’t need to give the language test in case they qualify and can provide a 10th or 12th standard marksheet/certificate as proof of studying the specified language. In a case otherwise, they have to give an SBI Local Language Test after the provisional selection, but before joining. The candidate will be disqualified if they fail this test and hence, won’t be appointed.
