Module II of Section III of Paper-I (Data Entry Speed Test)

DEST – Module II of Section III of Paper-I will include conducting a Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) for 15 minutes in Session II on the same day.
The “Data Entry Speed Test” (DEST) Skill Test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for 15 (fifteen) minutes. Detailed instructions regarding the Skill Test will
be provided by the Regional Offices of the Commission.

NOTE: Candidates will have to type 2000 words in 15 minutes on a computer in English. This test will be conducted to tests a candidates’ typing skills. They will be given an article in English to be typed on the computer. The DEST Exam is conducted to check the typing speed of the candidate. DEST will be mandatory for all posts. however, it will be qualifying in nature.
