IBPS RRB PO General Tips while attending exam

  • Time management tip: Don’t spend more than 20 minutes on RRB PO computer knowledge or general awareness. Either you already know the solution, or you don’t. Prioritise the easier tasks in each segment before advancing to the more challenging ones. As there will be no sectional timing in the IBPS RRB PO mains exam either.
  • Do not get stuck on any question: Set a time limit for yourself of, say 90 to 120 seconds. If a question takes longer than that, just leave it and come back if you have more time. Recall that each question in a section has equal weight, so don’t waste your time on just one.
  • AVOID GUESSES: Since there is a negative marking in RRB PO, exercise caution when selecting an answer on a question if you are unsure of the right answer. We do not advise making blind guesses, but you are free to make smart guesses (or predictions after ruling out two or three wrong possibilities).
  • Read Questions Carefully: Read each question and its options carefully before selecting your answer. Sometimes, a slight misinterpretation can lead to choosing the wrong option in RRB PO 2024 Exam.
