Three persons live between Jia and the person, who likes Apple. Lisa lives just above the person, who likes Apple. Two persons live between Lisa and Mehak, who likes Nokia. One person lives between Mehak and Kiran. Person, who likes Oppo, lives just above the person, who likes Asus. Neha lives below Jia but not adjacent to Kiran. Person, who lives on the topmost floor, likes Realme. Yashi lives above Adarsh. Person, who likes HTC, lives above floor number 4. Adarsh doesn’t like Vivo.

Common Solution:

Starting point: Start placing Jia and the person, who likes Apple, either Jia lives above or below the person, who likes Apple.

Clues: Lisa lives just above the person, who likes Apple. Two persons live between Lisa and Mehak, who likes Nokia. One person lives between Mehak and Kiran. Person, who likes Oppo live just above the person, who likes Asus. Neha lives below Jia but not adjacent to Kiran. Yashi lives above Adarsh.

Inference: Person, who lives on the topmost floor, likes Realme, i.e. either Lisa or Jia. Either Mehak or Neha lives on the bottommost floor.

Person, who likes HTC lives above floor number 4.

Case 1: When Jia lives above the person, who likes Apple. Adarsh doesn’t like Vivo, so this case is not possible.
