If you are going to appear for RRB JE 2023 Exam you must have the following essential educational / technical qualification:

• Diploma in Relevant Engineering Stream with a duration of three years.
• Relevant Engineering Stream BE/B. Tech degree.
• Final-year students of Degree/Diploma are NOT PERMITTED to apply for the RRB JE 2023 Recruitment Examination. 

RRB JE 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Applicants desiring to apply for the RRB Junior Engineer Exam 2023 should adhere to the following age criteria:

• Minimum Age Limit – 18 years
• Maximum Age Limit – 33 years

RRB JE 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

An individual eligible for the RRB Junior Engineer Exam must be:

• A resident of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan exile who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the aim of permanently settling in India.

Note: Provided that the RRB JE applicant falls into one of the categories mentioned above, they should possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

RRB JE 2023: Selection Process

As outlined in the RRB JE Notification from the preceding year, the candidates will undergo a selection process consisting of four distinct phases. Qualification in each stage is necessary for shortlisting in the Railway JE 2023 Recruitment.

RRB JE 2023: Exam Pattern

Upon submission of the application for RRB JE 2023 Recruitment, candidates should be aware about the exam pattern for both CBT 1 and CBT 2 of RRB JE 2023. Both stages are of an objective nature. 

RRB JE 2023 CBT 1 Exam Pattern

• In CBT 1 there will be a total of 100 questions.
• For Every incorrect answer there will be a deduction of  ⅓ marks. 
• The time Duration for CBT 1 is 90 Minutes.

RRB JE 2023 CBT 2 Exam Pattern

• In CBT 2 there will be a total of 150 questions.
• For Every incorrect answer there will be a negative marking of  ⅓ marks. 
• The time Duration for CBT 2 is 120 Minutes.

RRB JE 2023: Cut offs

Following the conclusion of CBT-I, RRB announces the minimum qualifying marks and cutoff. The anticipated minimum qualifying percentages are 40% for the general category, 30% for OBC and SC categories, and 25% for ST category candidates. The salary framework for RRB JE during the training phase is outlined in the table provided below. Effective September 28, 2022, the Government of India has increased Dearness Allowances for all government employees, impacting both Gross and In-hand Salary. The DA, constituting 38% of the basic pay, will be applicable from September 2022 onwards. The details of RRB JE 2023 salary are as follows:

Dearness Allowance: Rs 10,974

Total: Rs 46,374
