Please elaborate on your section-wise preparation strategy.

There is not a hard and fast rule in case of strategies adopted by me. Everyone Has his own strength and weaknesses. As per my concern I was weak in English and maths. I was good at reasoning. Even I got 38.75 marks in reasoning in mains.  My strategy:

For English: I used to read The Hindu editorials on a daily basis. It doesn’t matter how much you read, what matters is to understand the whole passage bcoz in pre and mains our understanding skill works. Go through all grammar rules and then practice them. Mugging up the rules is not worthy untill or unless you practice them. Vocab is equally important so i used vicab24 for this purpose.

For Maths: Firstly I  learned the tables, squares, cubes, percentage values and much more to increase my calculation speed. Then I cleared my basics of Arithmatics and practiced them from various sites. I used to give Small quizees from various sites. For mains, i solved arithmatic questions from Cat Book( by Arun Sharma).

For Reasoning:

I dont think u need a book to excel in this subject bcoz i didn’t use any book for reasoning. What i did is:

Firstly, for pre i cleared the basics of various topics come in pre. For this I watched videos on utube and then I practiced a lot(really). In reasoning puzzles and seating play a very crucial role in both pre and mains. So i practiced a lot of puzzles and seatings of every type with TIMER. I used to give small quizes also.

For GA:

GA is a gamechanger Bcoz we cant predict the level of maths, reas and eng so ga plays imp role in mains.

I used to read ca from adda on daily basis and then I muged up The Hindu Review. I used to watch studyiq best 200 as well bcoz reading from one source is not enough
